Fun stuff coming up! Plus some minor studio announcements.
Hey everyone!
Welcome to 2025! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and we can’t wait to see you back in the studio!
We have a couple minor adjustments to our pricing to announce, as well as some exciting class and workshop announcements. We’ll start with the business side of things:
We are pleased to let you know that despite some unavoidable rising costs, we feel we are able to continue into 2025 with no major changes to our pricing. Pricing for session classes, drop-in classes, and open studio training will remain the same as 2024.
400 pointcards will see a small increase in price. We can no longer continue to offer quite the rate of discount our 400 pointcards previously offered. The new price for a 400 pointcard will be $335. This increase is effective immediately. All other pointcard prices remain unchanged. Learn more about pointcards on our pricing page.
Training memberships will also see a small increase. The new price for a training membership will be $140/month beginning with February memberships. We feel this still offers significant value for members using the rental and drop-in training benefits of this membership. Training memberships are for advanced students and professionals needing training time outside of classes and open studio. Approval is required.
And now to the fun news!
We are excited to announce that this session coach Ruin is offering Intro to Aerial Burlesque! Ruin taught a sample drop-in version of this class over the break and it was met with such enthusiastic interest that we decided not to wait to expand it to a full session class. This class meets on Sundays 3-4:30pm and there are still a few spots open! Register here.
We also have a couple conditioning classes open to drop-in registration. Circus Core and Pelvic Floor with coach Kyla meets on Tuesdays at 6pm and will focus on developing the core strength that’s so critical to aerial. Aerial Strength and Active Flexibility with coach Ivanna meets on Thursdays at 6pm and works on building the general strength and flexibility we use in aerial movement. If you’re feeling undertrained after all the holiday festivities, a conditioning class is a great way to build back up! These classes are open to all levels.
Register here.
Lastly, we’ve got some great workshops coming up with a couple of traveling artists! Cody Hayman (IG – @circococo ) and Eliza Gaston (IG – eliza.blaise ) are visiting from NECCA and offering some lyra, vertical, and multi-apparatus workshops at the end of this month.
Friday 1/24: Aerial as Butoh Practice with Cody, 7-9pm (any apparatus)
Saturday 1/25: Lyra: Squirrels and Snakes with Eliza, 4-6pm
Saturday 1/25: How to Float with Cody (rope and silks)
Sunday 1/26: Lyra: Splits & Spins with Eliza, 9-11am
Learn more about these workshops and register here:https://www.newmoonmovementarts.com/workshop/
note: open studio will be shortened to 11am-1pm on 1/26 to accommodate the workshop
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading, and see you in the air!
